Odor removal and deodorization deals with the smell left behind after a trauma incident, decomposition, or biohazard event – an issue that doesn't resolve with air fresheners or standard cleaning because the odor has set into material at a deep level, not just sitting on the surface.
We handle this for Scooba, MS property owners after unattended deaths, trauma incidents, or any situation where strong odor has set into flooring, walls, or furnishings. Sometimes it's a standalone call after another company handled the physical cleanup but the smell remained, and sometimes it's part of a full biohazard cleanup job from the start.
Odor from decomposition or biological contamination gets into porous material – subflooring, drywall, insulation – in a way surface cleaning can't reach. We identify everything that's absorbed odor and needs removal versus what can be treated in place. For material we can save, we use ozone treatment or hydroxyl generators to break down odor molecules at the source, along with enzymatic cleaners that neutralize rather than mask the smell. Air scrubbing clears lingering particulates from the space itself.
Cost depends on how deeply the odor has set in and how large an area is affected.
If odor is lingering in your Scooba, MS property after an incident, call (945) 378-5179 and we'll get it resolved at the source.
